A Legacy of Firsts
Established in 1967 by the Very Reverend Father Diosdado A. Talamayan,
the High School Department stands as a cornerstone of the Lyceum of Aparri—
an institution built on a bold vision of trailblazing Catholic education.
For nearly six decades, our department has been the region’s pioneer,
distinguished as the first private school to offer specialized programs in Science
& Technology (1979), Foreign Languages (2008), and Arts & Design (2009).
Beyond our Level III Re-Accreditation, we take pride in a holistic approach
where science meets creativity and skill meets opportunity. Our curriculum
seamlessly integrates TESDA-standard technical training with academic rigor,
providing a nurturing, Catholic environment where students grow intellectually
and spiritually.
We are more than just an academic institution; we are a breeding ground
for excellence and a hub for student leadership. With a distinguished history of
multi-awarded student leaders and a trail of provincial and regional champions
in cultural and sports competitions—as well as national and international victors
in academics—we empower our learners to lead with integrity and vision.
At the Lyceum of Aparri High School department, faith and excellence are
forged as one—forming global champions of conscience, competence,
character, and compassion.
