Mamamayang Mapagmahal sa Kalikasan

The MMK Program of the Community Engagement and Development Office as a collective effort to promote environmental awareness, cleanliness, and community responsibility. Through organized clean-up activities, students worked together to remove waste, improve sanitation, and restore the cleanliness of shared spaces, fostering a healthier and more sustainable environment. Students, faculty members and extension coordinator, actively engaged in the initiative, exemplifying cooperation and civic consciousness. This activity under the MMK Program not only enhanced the physical surroundings but also instilled discipline, environmental stewardship, and a deeper sense of care for the community, reinforcing the importance of collective action in protecting and preserving the environment.

Blood Letting

The College of Health Bloodletting Activity, conducted in coordination with the Community Engagement and Development Office, was successfully implemented as a humanitarian and health-centered initiative aimed at promoting voluntary blood donation and saving lives. Faculty members, students, staff, and community volunteers actively participated in the activity, demonstrating a strong commitment to social responsibility and public health awareness. In partnership with Cagayan Valley Medical Center, the activity ensured safe and organized blood collection procedures while educating participants on the importance of regular blood donation. This collaborative effort not only contributed to maintaining an adequate blood supply for medical emergencies but also strengthened community engagement and reinforced the institution’s advocacy for compassion, service, and health consciousness.

The Liberal Arts Department in coordination with the Community Engagement and Development Office distributed groceries and school supplies to support selected beneficiaries of Barangay Tallungan, addressing immediate household needs and educational support for learners on December 21, 2025. Through the distribution of essential grocery items and basic school supplies, the program aimed to ease daily challenges faced by families while encouraging children to continue their education with renewed motivation. Faculty members, students, and the extension office work together in a spirit of service and social responsibility, fostering community engagement and empathy. This initiative reflects the department’s commitment to holistic development, demonstrating that education goes beyond the classroom by promoting compassion, shared responsibility, and genuine concern for the welfare of the community.

Missionaries of Charity

Missionaries of Charity

Standing as a living testimony of compassion in action, reaching out to the poor, the sick, the elderly, and the marginalized members of the community, the College of Liberal Arts and Community Engagement and Development Office, together with the Missionaries of Charity in Maura, Aparri conducted an apostolate and series of recollections on November 30, December 6, and December 13, 2025 at Maura, Aparri, Cagayan. Through acts of service rooted in love and humility, the program extends spiritual Guidance and genuine human presence to those in need, reflecting the mission of the Missionaries of Charity to serve Christ in the poorest of the poor. Philosophy and Psychology students and Extension Coordinators work hand in hand with the sisters, fostering a spirit of selflessness and solidarity while nurturing faith, hope, and dignity among beneficiaries. This extension program not only addresses immediate needs but also strengthens community bonds by inspiring individuals to live out the values of charity, service, and compassion in everyday life.
